Flak Style: Linking Your Web Comic to Flak

Once your Web comic has been pitched to and accepted by Flak, you need to set up a place on your server so that Flak can link to your consistently updated strip. Here's how.

1. Get a website.

2. Come up with two URLs — one for your comic, and one for your 75x75 thumbnail. They might look like this:

http://www.yourcomic.com/flak/yourcomic.jpg
http://www.yourcomic.com/flak/yourcomicth.jpg

3. Let the Comics editor know what these URLs are.

4. Every week when you update your strip, save a copy of it as yourcomic.jpg in the /flak/ directory. Cut a 75x75 thumbnail, call it yourcomicth.jpg, and dump it into the same directory. In both cases, you're overwriting the previous week's strip and thumbnail.

5. That's it. Try to update on Saturday, but whenever is cool.
