Superbowl XLI: Break 12
"Thank God Medicare Covers Coke" | Coca Cola
Summary: Old man is offered a Coke, he responds, "I've never had one," and takes it. His reaction to the deliciousness? "What else haven't I done?" Suddenly, he's in a phone booth saying "Doris, I've always loved you," diving off a high board, getting a tattoo, running with the bulls. His nurse comes back to look for him, but the couch is empty the last clip is the old man gunning it on a motorcycle.
High Point: His chest tattoo is reminiscent of Tupac's. That, and the realization that original recipe Coke contained cocaine, and might actually incite this kind of reaction.
Low Point: Coke is as ubiquitous in the United States as Jesus in Italy he probably had a lot of Cokes in his lifetime, and this is simply an Alzheimer's patient.
Will this commercial calm or inflame the Iraqi civil war? Iraq the next site for the cola wars.
