Super Bowl AdsSuperbowl XL: Break 15

"Stunt City" | Degree for Men

Summary: The day gets going in Stunt City, pop. 535,435 ... 535,434 ... 535, 433 ...

High Point: The angry young office worker who grabs for his deodorant, through the medicine cabinet glass. Because people in Stunt City are crazy about their deodorant.

Low Point: A few seconds later, when he jumps out his window and lands on an awning. Cuz that shit never works.

Will this commercial soothe the minds of scandal-weary Americans? No, because everyone knows that Stunt City is wracked by graft and corrupt lobbying. And men on fire.

"Crazy Palindrome" | Emerald Nuts

Summary: In a living room with a mid 70's aesthetic, an elderly japanese man swings a Machete and a little man dressed as a Druid talks on a telephone.

High Point: When the elderly Asian man is yelling YA! YA! YA!

Low Point: Trying to remember the palindrome — in vain.

Will this commercial soothe the minds of scandal-weary Americans? America will need everything it can get its hands on to comfort themselves in light of recent scandal, including clever palindromes and nuts.

"Paul McCartney Doing Things He Enjoys" | Fidelity Investments

Summary: Vintage photos and film footage of Paul McCartney are spliced together. Apparently it has something to do with investing.

High Point: None.

Low Point: None.

Will this commercial soothe the minds of scandal-weary Americans? Commercials are largely overlooked at this point, as viewers, having soothed their scandal-weary minds with beer and junk food, now stumble to the restrooms during the break seeking to soothe their Super Bowl-weary bladders.
