Joshua Adams
Joshua Adams would love to take credit for the description of book
reviewing as "walking onto the battlefield and shooting the wounded,"
but, for the time being, he's willing to petition Bartlett's to include
"Jean Baudrillard is the Backstreet Boy of postmodernity." A New Yorker by
birth, New Englander by trade and Washingtonian by university
affiliation, he spent a few years in graduate school becoming obscenely pedantic.
Eventually, the kind editors of Flak Magazine allowed him to restart a
journalistic career that imploded when he described Ben Folds as
"Puckish" in a concert review for The Washington Post. He would like to write
something of consequence. In the meantime, parasitic ruminations on the
hard work of others will have to do.
