The Liberator is typeset on Macintosh computers using Aldus PageMaker 4.2, jazzed up on a NeXT workstation, and imported and printed at 400dpi on a NeXT laser printer. Additional text and graphic effects have been produced using Stone Design's Create on the NeXT platform. The Liberator posters are produced on NeXT computers. While graphics are generally pasted down manually, The Liberator has been known to use scanners, digital cameras, and full motion video technology, as well as photographic manipulation programs like Adobe Photoshop2.0.1. During the layout process, it is not uncommon for data to move between three different computer platforms, including Macintosh, NeXT (UNIX), and DOS. Portable computer technology has been implemented to increase efficiency and team mobility.
