Facists deposed in Glorious Liberator Uprising
Attention, comrade students! A new era has dawned upon the citizens of West High. The former editors of the Liberator are in power no more! Devoted intelligence agents apprehended the counterrevolutionary traitors Tuesday and foiled their hideous plans to destroy the great Liberator People's Revolution.
Over the last year of operation, our devoted Marxist publication suffered under the tyrannical hands of James Mikhail Norton and Nikolai Davidovich Coleman. Although they claimed to be loyal activists working for the Liberation of the student Proletariat, their authoritarian and brutal methods of management suggested they were not all they claimed to be. However, no solid evidence existed against them until last Sunday. Intelligence officer Jonathan Martov Kaplan, utilizing recently developed phone tap technology, overheard the cunning malcontent Norton speaking on the phone with certain parties sympathetic to our deposed fascist dictator, Tsar Elizabeth Burmaster the II. Speaking to the female sympathizer, Norton asked for a "date," obviously arranging a rendezvous for some sort of counter-revolutionary activity. Shortly after completing the call (which was duly traced) Liberator Red Guard soldiers stormed the traitorous editor's resid ence.

See the authoritarian running-dogs fall! All hail the glorious new regime!

After a brief 43 hours of interrogation and torture, Norton confessed to everything we already suspected: he and Coleman conspired to destroy the Liberator through constant mismanagement. The two also plotted to use their positions of power to give away valuable revolutionary secrets to bourgeoisie oppressors. This information made known, the generals of the Liberator's powerful army did not hesitate to destroy the corrupt Norton regime. Minister of War Alex Rykov McMahon personally executed traitors Norton and Coleman near the steps of West's Ash street entrance, much to the viewing delight of peasants sitting on the surrounding lawn.
Fear not the future, comrade students! A brave new regime has risen to fill the power vacuum left by the inconvenient death of Norton and Coleman. The Liberator Supreme command council shall flourish under the untiring leadership of: Jonathan Martov Kaplan, Chief of Internal Security; Laura Voroshilov Certain, Prime Minister; Jon Litinov Yankovich, Minister of Propaganda; and General Secretary Alex Rykov McMahon. All hail the glorious revolution!
