Founded in April 2001, Dumbertimes.com is dedicated to the proposition
that New York's bellicose broadsheet has become abrasive, blue,
nonporous, sporadic and gossamer-woven. Even an ordinary installation
artist in Minneapolis reading a week's worth of newspapers at 4 am in
an all-night whirlwind of rum and Paul Westerberg LPs can notice
patches of accuracy and clear thinking.
Dumbertimes.com is dedicated to assembling a community of readers to support a new website that will offer a motor-oil-on-water-clear view of the predominant public press.
Dumbertimes.com - "Dumber than the Times, and almost as quick as
mercury poured into a public phone, but with only a tiny fraction of
the points in a good land survey."
